Preparing and Storing your Ghillie Suit

To prepare your suit for use, all you need to do is put it on. You can use a scent neutralizer or cover scent and spray it directly on to the suit and the person. You can find them at this link:

Always use your hands to comb through the threads in order to remove excess foliage or brush that has become tangled during use. Gently pulling your fingers through the suit will untangle the threads and you can then remove any branches, sticks, leaves that have become part of the suit. ALWAYS hand wash the suit, Never put the suit in the washing machine or dryer. Hang to dry or lay flat and rotate occasionally.

For storage while not in use, put it on a hanger in the closet, and keep it out of direct sunlight. Ghillie Suits are mostly not UV resistant, due to the fact that many animals can see the UV spectrum. If the suit came in a carry bag or box, it can be stored in the carry bag or box.
